Lanie will be speaking on one of Abbot's most treasured histories, its campus. Abbot Hall, School Room.
2:30 p.m. | Back to the Classroom Session with CAMD Scholar John Moreland ’18
An Abbot Legacy in the Arts presentation led by CAMD Scholar John Moreland ’18, who studied music through the lens of Abbot and Andover's histories. Abbot Hall, School Room.
3:30 p.m. | Back to the Classroom Session with Catherine Tousignant ’88
In her Harriet Beecher Stowe and Cultures of Print in the 19th-Century Andover discussion, Catherine will examine some of the stories that highlight Andover as an important place in the history of the book, Uncle Tom's Cabin. We will examine the role of our campus in the Underground Railroad and look at the development of anti-slavery societies at Abbot Academy, Phillips Academy, and in town. Abbot Hall, School Room.
